What is in it

Every day of the year has its own page, tied to that day’s reading in the book. On each one you get the mantra from that day’s teaching, and a reflection question written for that specific insight rather than a prompt that would fit any day of any year.

Every month opens with a short introduction to the theme ahead and one question to set your intention before the first entry. The last page closes the year.

How it works with the book

Open Daily Wisdom: Stoicism at today’s date and read the day: the Insight, the Stoic Practice and the Daily Mantra. Then open the journal at the same date, read the question, and write. Five to ten minutes, one page, and you are done.

You can also use it on its own. It will make more sense alongside the book, but nothing stops you writing to the questions by themselves.

If you would rather write on paper

There is a printed edition, made to sit beside the book on the shelf: same typography, same format, generous writing space, and a record of the year in your own handwriting that still exists in ten years. It is on the journal’s page.

The PDF is free either way, and asking for it does not commit you to anything. One email arrives with the file, the Tuesday letter follows, and one click ends it.
